I’m Laura, a Senior UI/UX Designer with seven years of design experience working across agencies, in-house teams, freelance, and contract roles. I design websites and digital products for SaaS, B2B, fintech, and AI companies, with a particular focus on scalable design systems, intuitive interfaces, and products that are as practical to build as they are to use.

Before specialising in UI/UX, I spent five years working as a multidisciplinary designer across branding, marketing, motion, and digital design. This broader background still shapes how I approach projects today. I think beyond individual screens, considering how a product fits into a wider brand, how it will evolve over time, and how different teams will work with it after launch.

I also studied psychology, which naturally influences the way I think about design. It helps me understand how people process information, build trust, and move through digital experiences, while also making collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams more thoughtful and considered.

Over the years I’ve worked on everything from early-stage startups to established global companies, presenting work to founders, creative directors, and leadership teams while collaborating closely with developers, project managers, and marketers. I enjoy working across disciplines, solving practical problems, and creating systems that make products easier to build, maintain, and grow.
I like to understand the problem before exploring solutions. Whether I’m designing a new interface or refining an existing one, my process usually starts by identifying constraints, finding opportunities, and building a system that can support the work long after launch.

I see design and development as a collaborative process rather than separate stages. I enjoy working closely with developers throughout implementation, discussing technical constraints early and refining details together so the final product feels intentional rather than simply translated from Figma.

AI has also become part of my everyday workflow. I use it to explore ideas, speed up repetitive tasks, organise information, and challenge my own thinking. It’s a valuable tool, but I still see design judgement, communication, and creative direction as distinctly human skills.

Originally from Melbourne, I spent the first part of my career in Australia’s corporate and freelance scene before moving to Europe in 2022. After several months travelling through Central America and the Balkans, I settled in Serbia and then Marseille. I now work remotely with teams across Europe, Australia, and North America.

Living and working in different countries has given me an appreciation for different perspectives, ways of working, and cultures. It’s something I value just as much as the design work itself.
Experience.
